Basic Crochet Stitches – Half Treble (htr)

A common stitch that you will need to know is another very simple one, half treble (htr)

This example starts with a series of chains on the hook.

1. Wrap your yarn around the back of your hook and over to the front.

2. Insert hook into a chain stitch, two stitches from hook, wrap your yarn around the back of your hook and over to the front.

3. Pull up a loop so that you now have three loops on your hook.

4. Wrap your yarn around the back of your hook and over to the front.

5. Pull through all three loops on your hook.
