Basic Crochet StitchesGet started with crochet by learning simple basic stitches. With just a few basics you will be able to complete loads on patterns!

A common stitch that you will need to know is a very simple one, slip stitch (ss)

This example shows a chain of four stitches being joined to form a ring, there are other instances where you would use a slip stitch and the method is the same.
