Halloween Crafts – Pumpkin Carving

We had lots of fun today carving pumpkins for Halloween, well it wouldn’t be right without!

What we used

Pumpkins!
Ball point pens
Spoons for scooping
Knives and hacksaw blades for carving
Tealights

What we did

  1. After cutting a zigzag circle to form a lid we used metal spoons to scrap and scoop out the seeds and pulp.
  2. We drew our designs with biro, usually Rowan draws on the design and I cut it out for her but this year she just went for it.
  3. We mainly used the knives and hacksaw blades for carving.
  4. Add a tealight and turn out the lights!
