Rag bunting is relatively quick to make and looks really lovely blowing in the breeze.
What we used
Old single duvet cover
What we did
- I made this from a old single duvet cover, cutting width ways in to 3-4 inch strips and then cut the resulting loop at both ends. I kept one loop full length (double width) for the base of my bunting. To cut the strips I used pinking sheers
- Folding the strip in half I looped it around the longer strip using a simple larks foot/cow hitch knot.
- Continue tying the strips along the length of the bunting leaving only a small gap between each until you have your desired length.
- You can use the strips to tie the bunting in place.
