Knitting with wool oddments – Trashtastic Knits

Janine Booth of Trashtastic Knits, challenges herself to make beautiful creations from everyone else’s leftover and unwanted yarn. The results are rather gorgeous!

As a keen crafter I soon accumulate plenty of wool and yarn oddments and I am always looking for ideas for using them up. I am greatly inspired by Janine’s blankets, shawls & bags.

Janine has been knitting and crocheting for years and loves to experiment with colours. Often taking her colour palette inspiration from around her, such as a rural landscape.

Her shawls are really popular and you can see why!

My daughter loves her rainbow poncho!

Janine also creates more intricate pieces, such as this beautiful wall art.

She does the traditional rather well to!
