My Favourite Crochet Hat Pattern

I love this crochet hat pattern, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve used it now!

It’s a Free pattern on the red heart website http://www.redheart.com/free-patterns/casual-beret

The only down side is it’s a US pattern so I have a cheat sheet I wrote on the back to make it UK friendly.

I don’t always use the same weight yarn or hook for this project, I adjust the pattern firstly by altering the number of chains I start with using the 70 as a guide, I reduce or increase and try it on for size before continuing. For very chunky yarn I reduce the number of rounds and for fine increase.
