Time & Tide Events Updates

We’re getting close now!!! These are the dates for our Time & Tide exhibition events

  • 2nd January exhibition opens
  • 7th January Awards & Networking Night
  • 14th January Felting workshop with finalist Christine Taylor
  • 21st January Demonstrations, Wokshops & January SALE 10am-3pm
  • 27th January – Exhibition closes

The exhibition is open Monday-Friday 10am-3pm We recommend you call ahead to ensure admission 01332 597 866.

Time & Tide Exhibition 2nd – 27th January

It all starts on the 2nd January when our Time & Tide exhibition will open to the public. We will be at Banks Mill between 10am & 3pm 2nd Jan if anyone would like a guided tour of the work. Just buzz studio 1.8!

Awards Evening 7th January 5:30-8:30pm

The Awards will be announced by our lovely panel, Paul Parry (Bad Dog Designs) Jennifer Devanney (The House Of Alchemy) & MJ Ryle (The Purple Finch) during a networking evening 5:30-8:30pm.

Felting Workshop 14th January 13:30-15:30pm

Finalist Christine Taylor will be running a felting workshop in the exhibition space as part of a series of events to promote the event throughout January.

Workshops Demonstrations & SALE 21st January 10:am-3:00pm

Finalist Simon Clark will be demonstrating driftwood mobiles between 10:am – 12noon.

This will be followed by finalists Brendan McDowell & Elizabeth Louie Blades running a workshop 12-3pm

These will run alongside a SALE event 10-3pm and all take place in the same space as the Time & Tide exhibition.

In addition to this finalist Kim Fowler Illustrator will have her studio 4:12 open as well as organiser Kirstie Adamson magazine collage artist in 1:8. Paul Adamson can also be found in 1:8 where he will be demonstrating spoon carving.
